Liza – heel counter material made of polyester and synthetic latex

Liza is a durable heel counter material made of polyester and synthetic latex. The back side features characteristic arrows indicating the processing direction, which gave it the common name – “arrow”. Its surface resembles suede, with a slightly fibrous texture, while the fabric itself is firm to the touch and non-stretchable. It is available in natural colors.

The material has been thoroughly tested for water absorption and desorption, tear strength, tensile strength, and flex resistance. In the Martindale test, it achieved a result of ≥ 25,600 cycles, confirming its excellent durability.

Thanks to these properties, Liza is a popular heel counter material used in everyday and work footwear. It is also widely applied as reinforcement and filling in bags and small leather goods.
